Our Mission

The skincare industry is worth over $110 billion, and most of it is built on selling you something you don’t actually need. Products are designed to look good, feel good, and sit on a shelf as long as possible, not necessarily to support your skin in a meaningful way.

As a licensed esthetician, I’ve seen what goes into these formulas. Fillers to bulk them up, synthetic dyes to make them look “natural,” preservatives to stretch their lifespan, and ingredient lists that sound impressive but don’t do much. You might see a quick glow, but that’s often where the story ends.

What you put on your skin doesn’t stay on the surface. It becomes part of your daily exposure, and over time that matters more than any short-term result. Your skin is your largest organ, and it deserves more care than it’s usually given.

I started Dear Oaklyn because I wanted something different. Skincare that feels honest. Thoughtful formulas made with organic, whole ingredients, where every part of it has a reason for being there.

It’s not about calling something “clean” or following trends. It’s about creating products that respect your body and the land they come from.
